Kuching City will be hosting the 13th Asia Pacific Orchid Conference 2019 (APOC 13) on the 24 - 28 July 2019 at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK).

Kuching is located on the mystical Island of Borneo, capital state of Sarawak, Malaysia. Kuching serves as an entry point to numerous great attractions within the heart of Sarawak. Also known as the City of Unity, Kuching is home to over 28 ethnic groups living in peace and harmony. It is rich in biodiversity, cultural heritage and historical landmarks surrounded by lush greenery.

APOC‘s objective is to achieve an international cooperation for trend in development and conservation of orchids in the Asia Pacific Region.

An array of interactive programs have been lined up for the APOC 13 which include conference, various orchid competitions, exhibition, horticulture, agriculture and food bazaars, APOC quiz, children drawing/colouring competition, musical bands, orchid run and many more.
