Pleurothallis jesupiorum is an orchid species identified by Luer & Hirtz in 1996. Culture information and photos for this orchid are commonly detailed under the currently accepted name of Anathallis jesupiorum.
ORIGIN: Found in Zamora-Chinchipe Ecuador at elevations around 2500 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with slender, blackish, erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3, tubular sheaths below the middle and at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, subacute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on a loose, distichous, 1.2 to 2.4 [3 to 6 cm] long including the .4 to .8 [1 to 2 cm] long peduncle, simultaneously several flowered inflorescence arising through a narrow spathe from an annulus just below the apex of the ramicaul.
