Rlc. Volcano Island 'Volcano Queen'

Description: This is the first bloom for this mericlone plant. The plant is one of the plants from a flask purchased from Akatsuka Orchid Gardens on the island of Hawaii. The flower has a very sweet fragrance.

Culture: The plant is growing in a 4-inch plastic pot with orchid bark as the media. The plant is grown outside under 60% shade cloth. It is watered 2-3 times per week and fertilized weekly with Michigan State University formula fertilizer.
