Description:

Culture: This plant is in a large hanging basket that is put up high and bright in the warmest part of the greenhouse. In 2006, an exhaust fan went out in 100 degree weather and all the leaves were burnt off the plant. But it then branched from the rhizome in numerous places to eventually form this specimen. It has rather typical form, but good dark color on a very compact plant. The photo is from March 2014.
