Den. spectabile 'Shorty'

Description: This is a dwarf version and does not get as tall as the normal spectabile which makes it easy to grow under lights. The foliage is a beautiful shiny green. It is an easy grower and can withstand a lot of abuse. At different times my orchid has been eaten by squirrels, fried in the sun, and sulked in abject sunlessness for extended periods. It has always come back with elan. By the way all of those things don't encourage blooming, they just don't kill it.
