C. Intermedioflava (C. intermedia x L. flava) produce deformed petals on 50 percent of its flowers on every clone; when crossed with Sophronitis grandiflora the same deformity showed up; is the crippling gene contributed by a combination of species, or by one clone?; does it continue from one early, unfortunate mating?; the gene is dominant and transmittable.
