Where there are lots of buds on cymbidiums it is better to fumigate to control the mites rather than spray, reason: possible damage to the buds. OR74-228

MITES, RED SPIDER: Control in Cymbidiums Also know as two-spotted mite; in cool weather the adults change to the "carmine form"; first signs come usually in spring; during winter they seek shelter; controls: space the plants well apart; spray in spring and every 21 to 28 days until plants are close to flowering.
