Both the ointment and the opthalmia solution have been uses with good results; it's an antibiotic, contains polymicin B, bacitracin, neomycin, and may be available only on prescription; Polysporin is a weaker version available in drugstores,contains polymicin and gramacidin. OIE87Jan-12; -88Feb-2
