When a lead growth was removed for meristemming from a number of plants, a large percentage started thtee or four new growths which developed and flowered. A67-15

PINCHING: Disbudding Some of the Growths Taking some buds off will provide additional strength for those left on the spike and will improve flower quality; on weak plants the dormant bud in the leaf axil can be removed to improve the flower a year later. OR8I-143 0
