Repotting Comments
REPOTTING: Basic Rules Everyone Should Follow Do it at least once every two years, although there can be exceptions; both heavy watering and fertilizing can shorten this period; sympodials can be done either when root growth begins in spring at the base of the new pseudobulbs or just after flowering, especially for those that persist in flowering through the normal spring potting months for monopodials such as vandas, any time they are in active growth F80-124 0
REPOTTING: Rooting Hormone For cymbidiums use a solution of B-One or Superthrive every ten days to aid rooting. OD74-42 0
REPOTTING: When in Doubt Repot paphiopedilums any time because it is almost impossible to repot them too often; if a plant shows sgns of stress or suffering, repot it. OR80-162 0
REPOTTING: Wrong Time Divisions with no emerging roots warrant treatment as for imported plants if repotted at the wrong time; they need high humidity, shade, frequent light syringings and care to avoid overwatering, otherwise serious check of their growth occurs. A67-564 0
