ORIGIN: Found in Borneo and Sumatra in cloud forests on tree trunks at elevations of 700 to 2000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with cylindrical, rather flattened pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, linear-lanceolate, acute, rather stiffly coriaceous, deeply canaliculate leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, rigid, elongating, 18 to 27.5 [45 to 68 cm] long, successively 1 to 2, many [50 to 100] flowered inflorescence.
