ORIGIN: Found in Zamora Chinchipe Ecuador in shady, wet tropical montane forests at unrecorded elevations.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized epiphyte with slender, erect, slender ramicauls enveloped basally by a tubular sheath below the middle and 2 short sheaths at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, acute to subacute, gradually narrowed below into the indistinct subpetiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter on a weak, suberect to arching, lax, distichous, flexuous, to 4 [to 10 cm] long, successively several flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe from an annulus below the apex of the ramicaul.
