ORIGIN: Found in Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua in wet montane forests at elevations of 700 to 1350 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with clustered, ovoid, ribbed pseudobulbs carrying a pair of plicate, elliptic, acute, conduplicate below into the elongate petiole leaves and blooms on a pendulous, to 8 [to 20 cm] long, few to many flowered inflorescence with rather waxy, apricot scented flowers occurring in the summer and fall.
