DESCRIPTION: Found in Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zaire, Zambi and Zimbabwe as a mini-miniature sized, cool to warm growing epiphyte in riverine forests and high rainfall woodlands usually on large branches at elevations of 550 to 1900 meters with a very short, woody stem carrying 4 to 8, sword-shaped, obtuse, very fleshy, light green, speckled dark green, laterally compressed, imbricate basally leaves held in a fan that blooms on 1 to 2, basal, 2 [5 cm] long, densly many flowered inflorescence carrying 2 ranked rows of flowers.
