ORIGIN: This small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte is from the eastern Himalayas, India, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Java and Sumatra in semi-deciduous and deciduous dry lowland forests and savana-like woodlands at elevations of sea-level to 1420 meters..

DESCRIPTION: This small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte is from the eastern Himalayas, India, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Java and Sumatra in semi-deciduous and deciduous dry lowland forests and savana-like woodlands at elevations of sea-level to 1420 meters. This species has deciduous leaves and loses them as it is ready to bloom and needs a slight lessening of water but should not be allowed to dry out. It also does not like direct sunlight.
