ORIGIN: Found in northeastern Madagascar in humid evergreen forests at elevations of 800 to 1700 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small to just medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a sheath enveloped rhizome carrying close-set, ovoid, 4 angled pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, lanceolate, acute, subpetiolate and attenuate towards the base leaves that blooms in the late spring and summer on a 8 [20 cm] long, very thick, yellowish green, incurved inflorescence that is enveloped by 5 to 7 sheaths .
