ORIGIN: Found in central and southern Taiwan in forests on tree trunks at elevations of 1300 to 1800 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a slender, creeping rhizome with .8 [2 cm] between each ascending, narrowly ovoid pseudobulb carrying a single apical, erect, oblanceolate to obovate, obtuse to sometimes retuse, sessile base leaf that blooms in the spring on a basal, slender, 2 to 2.4 [5 to 6 cm] long, 5 to 6 flowered inflorescence with 2 scale like bracts and narrowly triangular floral bracts and carrying the flowers in an apical umbel.
