ORIGIN: Found in Kalamitan Borneo in lower montane forests at elevations around 1000 to 1500 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial withpseudobulbs carrying 2 to more, oblong-elliptic,acuminate, acute, apiculate leaves that blooms in the spring and again in the fall on an erect, peduncle puberulous,10 to 16 [25 to 40 cm] long, several tubular bracted, rachis to 5.2 [13 cm] long, densely pubescent, to 15 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acute, sparsely pubescent floral bracts and carrying flowers that turn orange with age.
