ORIGIN: Found in Espirito Santo state of Brazil southward to northern Argentina on lichen and mossy, thin, tree trunks and twigs at elevations around 500 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with small, elongate, attenuate, clustered pseudobulbs covered with papery bracts carrying a single, apical, cylindrical, acute, fleshy, sulcate and channeled above leaves that blooms in the fall on a suberect to pendulous, densely few to many flowered, 1 5/8 to 2 3/4 [4 to 7 cm] long inflorescence carrying minute flowers.
