ORIGIN: Found in Minas Gerais, Brazil at elevations of 600 to 1200 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing rupicolous lithophyte found on exposed rocks and sand among dwarf vellozia bushes on open hillsides with short pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, leathery, concave leaf and blooms on a 6 to 14 long, 2 to 5 flowered inflorescence with the well spaced flowers held towards the apex and arise from May through September in the southern hemisphere.
