ORIGIN: Found in Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Central African Republic, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Zaire Ethiopia, Uganda and Tanzania in shady evergreen forests at elevations of 900 to 1300 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, pendant, warm to cool growing epiphyite with a short stem carrying several, linear, unequally bilobed apically, each lobe bidentate, articulated basally to the leaf sheath and blooming in the spring on a below the leaves, .6 to .8 [1.5 to 2 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with papery bracts.
