ORIGIN: Found in Bhutan, Assam and Sikkim in the Himalayas well as Myanmar at elevations around 1000 to 2000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, cool, pendent growing epiphyte with small, round, smashed pseudobulbs that have a single, apical, tall, oblong-lanceolate, subfalcate, shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a pendant, 4 1/4 [11 cm] long, basal, bracteate inflorescence that has an umbel of apical flowers held below the leaf height.
