ORIGIN: Found in India and Sri Lanka at elevations of 300 to 600 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Large to giant sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with elongate stems carrying many, rather leathery, linear, obtuse, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on an erect, to 5' [to 150 cm] long, usually sparsely branched, densely racemose towards the apex inflorescence with successive, foul smelling, long-lived flowers.
