Dendrobium friedericksianum f. album is an orchid species name for which no taxonomic record was found. Culture information and photos for this orchid are commonly detailed under the currently accepted name of Dendrobium friedericksianum.
ORIGIN: A deciduous leafed, spring bloomer on an axillary, short, racemose inflorescence with 2 to 4, waxy, long-lived flowers that arises from the nodes near the apex of leafless canes that comes from Thailand, Malaysia and Cambodia where it is found in low elevations in tall trees at least 20 meters.
DESCRIPTION: A deciduous leafed, spring bloomer on an axillary, short, racemose inflorescence with 2 to 4, waxy, long-lived flowers that arises from the nodes near the apex of leafless canes that comes from Thailand, Malaysia and Cambodia where it is found in low elevations in tall trees at least 20 meters up so it is a hot to cool growing, medium sized, epiphytic plant with suberect, basally slender and cylindrical to clavate above, light yellow stems carrying in the apical third, several quickly deciduous leaves that needs a slight lessening of water and holding of fertilizer until the spring.
