ORIGIN: Found in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia in wet montane forests at elevations around 900 to 1200 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to close set, narrowly cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, erect-patent, ligulate, acute, acuminate leaves that blooms in the fall and winter on a terminal, erect, 10 [25 cm] long, 6 to 10 flowered, racemose inflorescence.
