ORIGIN: Found in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and northern Brazil.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with an erect ramicaul enveloped basally by 2 to 3 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic-lanceolate to oblong, emarginate apically, basally cuneate leaf that blooms in the winter on a nodding, usually solitary, racemose, to 4 [10 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence.
