ORIGIN: Found on Serra da Tammamboia in Minas Gerais Brazil at elevations around 1200 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small to medium sized, cool growing rupicolous orchid with robust, cylindrical, tapering pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong leaf that blooms in the summer on an erect, to 21.5 cm] long, 8 to 9 flowered inflorescence.
