ORIGIN: Found in Minas Gerais Brazil on sandstone outcrops amongst mosses and lichens as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing lithophyte at elevations of 1500 to 2200 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Found in Minas Gerais Brazil on sandstone outcrops amongst mosses and lichens as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing lithophyte at elevations of 1500 to 2200 meters with narrowly cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying thick, leathery, rigid, succulent, often suffused with red beneath, ovate to ovate-elliptic, somewhat folded, fleshy, acute leaves and blooms in the late spring and early summer on a terminal, 8 to 10 [20 to 25 cm] long, racemose inflorescence arising through a sheath and carrying 2 erect, simultaneous flowers.
