ORIGIN: Found in Bahia Brazil at elevations around 1300 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, cool growing rupicolus orchid that grows in an area with cactus that has a dry spell between December and July and is rare there in nature as well as cultivation with pear-shaped pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, narrowly elliptic, somewhat conduplicate, leathery leaf and blooms on a successively single [up to 8] flowered, 12 [30 cm] long inflorescence with several triangular sheaths occurring in the spring.
