DESCRIPTION: Large to giant sized, hot to cold growing, slender terrestrial with underground, irregularly shaped and in a chain pseudobulbs giving rise to the 3 to 4, plicate, erect, linear leaves after or with the 2 to 9 flowered inflorescence carrying showy flowers occurring in the spring and summer.
