ORIGIN: Found in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe in evergreen foreets and high rainfall woodlands at elevations of 800 to 2450 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with sliver-green roots that blooms in the late spring on up to 5, erect to pendulous, spreading, to 5 [to 12.5 cm] long, more or less furrowed, densely many [40] flowered inflorescence with non-sheathing, ovate, acute, indistinctly single nerved floral bracts and carrying fragrant, crystaline, heather scented flowers.
