ORIGIN: Found in Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, Bolivia and Peru as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing fan-shaped, twig epiphyte in montane rainforest on small branches and old coffee plants at altitudes of 230 to 1410 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Found in Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, Bolivia and Peru as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing fan-shaped, twig epiphyte in montane rainforest on small branches and old coffee plants at altitudes of 230 to 1410 meters with numerous, bilaterally compressed, lanceolate-subfalcate, acute, subfleshy leaves and blooms from winter through spring and summer on an axillary, 3/8 [1 cm] long, scapose, sequentially, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence that is twice the length of the leaves to just past the leaves and has a giant flower in proportion to the plant.
