Pleurothallis gracilipedunculata is an orchid species identified by Foldats in 1968.
ORIGIN: Found in Venezuela and Colombia at elevations of 2300 to 2650 meters.
DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with slender, ascending to erect ramicauls enveloped by a tubular sheath below the middle and 2 to 3 others at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical-ovate, acute, slightly acuminate, sessile into the base leaf that blooms in the spring on a 1 to 1.6 [2.5 to 4 cm] long, fascile of single flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe at the base of the leaf.
FLOWER SIZE: 0.2 inches [5 mm]
