ORIGIN: Found in Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Bahia and Sao Paulo States of Brazil on Velloziaceae on rocky slopes at elevations of 1000 to 1900 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte in shade or sun with a reduced ramicaul carrying a single, apically fleshy, almost orbicular to subcylindrical to flat, elliptic or spathulate, green to yellowish leaves that can bloom at most ant time of the year on a 1 [2.5 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered, racemose inflorescence.
