The conservation of native orchid species Company Overview Founded during the golden era of orchid growing, the society dedicated itself not only to promoting the propagation of this wonderful group of plants and preserving the natural environment but also helping our less fortunate brothers and sisters in our society. The Organization has donated houses through the Gawad Kalinga Program of the Couples for Christ Movement. The club has through the years conducted feeding and medical missions and has undertaken the landscaping of some of the edifices and headquarters of some organizations in our society. General Information The Negros Occidental Orchid Society was founded in 1983. Inspired by her love for orchids and her vision to start a new industry for orchid enthusiast in Negros, the founder, MRS. JULITA CAMPOS BENEDICTO, initiated the formation of the Negros Occidental Orchid Society.
