The Slipper Orchid Alliance is an international membership organization dedicated to the preservation of and education about all lady-slipper orchids (those with a pouch as the lip), including Paphiopedilum, Phragmipedium, Cypripedium, Mexipedium and Selenipedium orchids. The SOA focuses on being a resource center to enchance the understanding and growing of these captivating flowers to encourage conservation in natural habitats and artificial propagation of endangered species.
