Article references?

General Discussion

by Jan Andersen

I have been trying to read some of the articles in this site, but I'm mystified by the very brief references, like for details refer to A87-799 - I assume I can find the actual article somewhere, if I can decode the reference, but how?

So Jan the book gives a synopsis of the article and then tells you where the entire article is - through the code. What you see on our web site is what is on the printed page.

Hi Jan, that’s understandable. Those numbers are from 2 books compiled by Robert M. Hamilton, “The Orchid Doctor” and “The New Orchid Doctor” Both printed in 1988. There is a list of sources that I will ask our IT person to put online. The A is the “American Orchid Society Bulletin” with the year and page following. It is an excellent resource. You can find the books used. Carol

Hi Carol, thanks! I'll see if I can get the book - or are they sufficiantly different that I ought to get both?
