Unknow orchid

Vandaceous

by Kevin Fernandez

I'm still very new to this site and I hope that if I have asked entered this question in the wrong area that someone will guide me in the proper format. This orchid was being thrown away by on of my clients. They were not able to give me any history or name of this orchid. I think it is a Vanda of some sort but I'm guessing. Can anyone tell me what I have?

Hi Kevin, I can’t tell from just the leaves - when it blooms post a photo and we may be able to tell you. It does look like a vanda, of which there are over 60 Vandas and then hundreds more in the Vanda family. So grow it like a vanda and let’s see what happens when it blooms. Carol
