ORIGIN: Found in Cape Province, Lesotho, Natal and Transvaal South Africa among grasses in seepages areas at elevations of 1800 to 2000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Solitary, small sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid with 2 to 4, cauline, erect, alternate, sessile, eliptic to oblong-lanceolate, glabrous leaves that blooms in the summer and early fall on an erect, 4 to 6 [10 to 15 cm] long, 1 to 6 flowered inflorescence.
