ORIGIN: Endemic to China in Yunnan Province on tree trunks in broad-leafed, evergreen forests as a terete leafed, monopodial, miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte at elevations of 1200 to 2000 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Endemic to China in Yunnan Province on tree trunks in broad-leafed, evergreen forests as a terete leafed, monopodial, miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte at elevations of 1200 to 2000 meters with a short stem carrying several short leaves that blooms on a short, axillary, several congested flowered inflorescence occurring in the winter and early spring.
