ORIGIN: Found in Valle de Cauca Colombia in rainforests at elevations around 60 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with slender, erect, ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, subacute to obtuse, cuneate below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later spring on a slender, ascending, 1.4 to 1.8 [3.5 to 4.5 cm] long, green flecked with purple, distant, successively single, few flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul, with a bract near the base and another below the middle and thin tubular floral bracts.
