ORIGIN: Found in northwestern and southeastern New Caledonia in rainforests, high elevations scrublands or on mossy rocks at elevations of 800 to 1600 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Warm to cool growing terrestrial or occasional lithophyte with 2 to 4, glossy green, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on a terminal, erect, many flowered inflorescence carrying fragrant flowers.
