ORIGIN: Found in Colombia and Ecuador in wet forests at elevations of 200 to 700 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with slender, erect, ramicauls envelope dby 2 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly obovate, obtuse to rounded apically, narrowing below into the conduplicate base leaf that blooms in the summer on an erect, to 2.8 [7 cm] long, peduncle .8 to 1.6 [2 to 4 cm] long, strict, secund, loose, successively several flowered inflorescence arising from the apex of the ramicaul with oblique, acute floral bracts and carrying often cleistogamous flowers.
