ORIGIN: Found in Burunda, Rwanda, Zaire, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, and Cape, Transvaal and Natal South Africa in forests and bush in submontane and montane forests at elevations of 800 to 2600 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with an erect stem carrying 4 to 5, towards the apex, strap-shaped, dark green leaves that blooms in the fall on 2 or more, arising from the base of the stem, arching, 2 to 6 [5 to 15 cm] long, 12 to 13 flowered inflorescence and carrying nocturnally, sweetly scented flowers.
