ORIGIN: Found in Southern Ecuador in montane forests at elevations of 750 to 1200 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, hot to warm, pendant growing epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls that produce other ramicauls from the apex and enveloped by 2 to 9, closely adpressed, lepanthiform sheaths with ciliate ostia and carrying a single, apical, coriaceous, elliptical to narrowly elliptical, acute, contracted below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a loose, lightly flexuous, 8 [20 cm] long, flexible, simultaneously several to many flowered, racemose inflorescence arising from near the apex of the ramicaul.
