ORIGIN: Found in Colombia, Ecuador and Brazil on the Rio Negro in wet montane forests at elevations of 200 to 700 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, hot to warm growing, ant supporting epiphyte with elongate, ovate, grooved pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, plicate, elliptic-lanceolate, thin, acuminate, shortly petiolate base leaves that blooms at any time of the year on a pendant, basal, 10 [25 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence with very fragrant, short-lived flowers.
