ORIGIN: Found in Cundinamarca Colombia and El Oro Ecuador at elevations around 600 to 1100 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Miniature sized, warm growing, caespitose epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped by a close tubular sheath below the middle and 2 to 3 others at the base and carrying a single, apical, horizontal to spreading, thinly coriaceous, cordate-ovate, acute, shallowly cordate below into the sessile base leaf that blooms in the summer and fall on a fascile of several .24 to .4 [.6 to 1 cm] long, successively single flowered inflorescence arising through a reclining spathe.
