ORIGIN: A miniature sized, cool to warm growing, dwarf epiphyte that comes from Bolivia and Brazil at elevations of 100 to 600 meters.

DESCRIPTION: A miniature sized, cool to warm growing, dwarf epiphyte that comes from Bolivia and Brazil at elevations of 100 to 600 meters with ovate to ovate-oblong, ridged pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, linear-lanceolate to ovate-oblong, acute or emarginate leaf that blooms in the spring with a 12 to 24 [30 to 60 cm] long, erect, short branched, loosely several flowered panicle spotted with red-brown. This species is cool to warm growing and needs bright filtered light, air circulation, and ample water while growing and a lessening in the winter in conjunction with cooler temperatures.
