ORIGIN: Found in Zaire, Tanzania, Malawi, and Zimbabwe high in trees of submontane and riverine forest, occasionally in high rainfall Brachystegia woodland at elevations of 1250 to 1800 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Often pendant, small sized, warm growing epiphyte with pendent stems usually bare, except for sheaths of old leaf bases and carries 3-6 fresh, linear, with 2 distinctly unequal lobes apically leaves and blooms in the late spring on a short, occurring along the stem, few flowered inflorescence.
