ORIGIN: Found in the lichen rich, humid, central highlands of Madagascar at elevations of 1000 to 1300 meters.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sized, cool, pendant growing epiphyte and occasional terrestrial with a multi-branching, spidery, very thin, long stem enveloped by old leaf sheaths and carrying 10 to 15 terete, fairly dark green, hard, very acute leaves and blooms in the spring on a short, axilary, single flowered inflorescence with a broadly ovate, dorsally keeled bract.
